Service Bus

ETSI HypO relies on a Service-based Architecture, where multiple services communicate with each other - in an asynchronous manner - via a service bus.

To do so, HypO employs Apache Kafka: an industry-grade message and event bus. HypO services register to specific channels on the service bus to share information with other services towards realizing complex workflows.
